- Usage data — Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the site. This is used to improve the product and measure advertising performance.

- Browser and device information — Anonymized browser type, device type, and IP address for performance monitoring and fraud prevention.

- Power your anime list, recommendations, and history

Authentication
- Google OAuth (Sign-in with Google) — When you sign in using Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google. We do not receive your Google password. Google Privacy Policy →
Payments
- Polar.sh — Subscription payments are processed by Polar.sh. Loreplex does not store your payment card details. Polar handles all billing data securely. Polar Privacy Policy →
AI & Content
- AniList API — Public anime metadata. No personal data is shared with AniList.
- Jikan (MyAnimeList API) — Episode and relation data. No personal data is shared.
- OpenAI API — Used to generate filler guide insights and personality results. Only anonymized content (anime titles, general preferences) is sent. No names, emails, or personal identifiers are included.
5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We use the following types of cookies and tracking technologies:
- Essential cookies — Required for login sessions and security. Cannot be disabled.
- Preference cookies — Store your settings (dark mode, language, sound). Can be cleared in your browser.
- Analytics cookies — Google Analytics and PostHog use cookies to track aggregate usage patterns. These are only set after you accept cookies via our consent banner.
- Advertising cookies (Facebook Pixel) — The Meta Pixel uses cookies to measure ad conversions and build audiences for advertising. These are only set after you accept cookies via our consent banner.

6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where we are legally required to retain it.

Loreplex is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we discover we have done so, we will delete it promptly.
